Philipp Budka has been teaching at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Vienna and the M.A. Program in Visual and Media Anthropology of the Free University Berlin as well as in other educational institutions. Philipp has been giving lectures and seminars on the introduction to social and cultural anthropology, media and visual anthropology, digital anthropology and ethnography as well as indigenous media.

He also contributed to the development of digital learning material for the social sciences, in particular for social and cultural anthropology.
